Description

This course will be taught in te reo Maori and will examine areas of wellbeing, hinengaro, tinana, wairua and whanau. Mana Atua will focus on Maori success, empowering the mana of each individual to carve out their own pathway according to strengths, as well as characteristics of leadership. Preservice kaiako will analyse the responsibilities, service professional, cultural and ethical elements of becoming a leader within kaupapa Maori education as well as explore traditional Maori leadership and leadership in today’s society.
