This course develops advanced skills in analysing complex academic texts and constructing persuasive arguments. Students will engage in independent critical thinking, apply analytical frameworks, and participate in scholarly debate, taking into consideration ethics. The course emphasises effective communication, both in writing and orally, ensuring students can adapt their arguments to various academic contexts. Overall, it prepares students to engage deeply with academic material and develop critical insights for further academic study. This course is available only to students enrolling in the UC Pre-Masters Programme.
