Description

An introduction to microbiology. An overview of the history of microbiology shows how it has contributed to contemporary applications. The nature and major groups of microrganisms are reviewed together with consideration of their growth, physiology and ecology.

BIOL113
For students enrolled before 2003, BIOL112 plus CHEM114 can replace BIOL113.
