Description

Advanced molecular genetics of animals, plants, bacteria and viruses, with an emphasis on recombinant DNA and genomic technologies and their applications, and population, quantitative and evolutionary genetics with a conservation emphasis.

Prerequisites

Either (1) BIOL230; or (2) BIOL231 and BIOL232 and BIOL271

Timetable Note

Lab sessions start at 2.10 pm week commencing 2 March in Biology, Room 211.  Labs will run in weeks 2, 3 and 6 in semester 1 and weeks 7, 10 and 11 in semester 2.
