This course provides initial professional scholarship and training in Child and Family Psychology, with particular focus on models of practice. Using the Scientist-Practitioner model as a reference point, two themes are emphasised: "What is a Child and Family Psychologist?"; and "the research-practice nexus".
(1) (i) Enrolled in the Master of Arts in Child and Family Psychology, orMaster of Science in Child and Family Psychology or an approved Master of Education or their equivalents. (ii) CFPY601, CFPY602, CFPY603, CFPY604 and HLTH472 (iii) An approved 15-point, 0.125 EFTS postgraduate or honours-level research methods course (2) Subject to approval of the Head of School of Health Sciences.
