Description

Advanced study of Greek texts and unseen passages.

Advanced study of Greek texts and unseen passages.  In 2013 we shall read
Book 9 of Homer's Odyssey (text will be supplied by the Department), and,
for unseen translation, Theocritus' Idylls 6 and 11, on the Polyphemus theme
(text will again be supplied by the Department).

Prerequisites

CLAS231 or CLAS235. Students without this prerequisite but with previous experience in the language may be admitted to the course at the discretion of the Programme Coordinator.
