Description

Computer programming in a high-level language with special emphasis on style and structure.

COSC121 is an introductory programming course, using the programming language Java. It is normally required as preparation for COSC122, and as a prerequisite for 200 level courses.

The sets of laboratory exercises are chosen to illustrate and reinforce the main topics covered in lectures. Laboratory streams are arranged according to demand and allocations are made during the first week of lectures.

The initial course handout provides an introduction to the course, including a synopsis, and an overview of course assessment
