NOTE: This course is offered as an entirely ONLINE course by Tuihono UC | UC Online and is part of a programme of courses for a Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Security.  Go here to see the requirements, prerequisites and learning outcomes for the four courses of the programme.

Please note:
• Each course is 10 weeks in total (8 weeks learning, 1 week term-break, 1 week study). Courses have different term start dates compared to on-campus courses (check the UC online page for term dates). Each course requires approximately 18.5 hours of study per week. This means you have to manage your time commitments wisely.
• Courses are completely online, you are not required to come on campus for any lectures, labs or assessments. You will be asked to read the lecture material in your own time. There will be no lectures or lecture recordings. There is a weekly Synchronization session offered via Zoom (similar to tutorials)
• The courses (COSC446, COSC447, COSC448 and MBIS622) are designed to be taken sequentially for the Postgraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity.  If you want to just take a single course, you will need approval from the Course Coordinator
• For software engineering students, due to the nature of this course, there are inevitably some overlaps with SENG406.
