This course solidifies foundational training in creative sound design for screen, with a strong emphasis on Pro Tools workflows, hands-on studio practice, real-world post-production scenarios and techniques for creative sonic manipulation. It integrates essential critical listening concepts into applied sound design tasks, including the creative use of spatial sound in a 5.1 surround context. Students work within collaborative teams simulating professional post-production workflows from an audio perspective; and gain experience with studio environments, DAW workflows, and collaborative sound practices.
