Description

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to produce a professional final mix of dialogue, music, and sound effects for a feature film, documentary or game. Students learn advanced techniques in controlling balance, dynamics, balance, ambiance, and spectrum, along with prevailing industry conventions regarding loudness levels and file formats in various genres. Multichannel surround and 3D approaches to sound mixing are also taught.

Prerequisites

60 points from courses in the Screen Sound major
