This course guides students through the structured development of an original screen-based story for a short film or virtual production. Emphasising screenwriting, narrative design, and production-ready documentation, students explore character, plot, world-building, and tone while experimenting with story forms appropriate to the short film and/or to virtual production. Students produce a detailed story bible and, where appropriate, a screenplay or scripted scene, culminating in a pitch-ready concept package for execution in the final semester.
