This is a 100 level compulsory course which focuses on the on-going practical experience of working as a teacher in an early childhood setting. Students are expected to apply the knowledge gained in their College courses and respond to formative assessment of their practice in their practicum centre
By the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:1 Engage in discussion with lecturers about their demonstration of Year 1 competencies and professional qualities in their early childhood setting.2 Work collaboratively with visiting lecturers in evaluating practice. 3 Maintain documentation of centre attendance.
