Description

This course provides an introduction to basic learning processes. The course addresses such questions as: What is learning? How and when does it occur? Are certain kinds of experiences more likely to result in learning than others? Why do some children learn more quickly than others? Are there different kinds of learning? What do parents and teachers need to know about learning in order to design effective learning experiences?

Prerequisites

EDUC110 or EDUC111 or EDUC105, or
18 points in Education, or
36 points in Psychology at 100 level.

EDUC105 in 1999 or 2000.
