A continuation of EMTH118. Topics covered include methods and Engineering applications of calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, along with an introduction to probability. This course is a prerequisite for many courses in engineering mathematics and other subjects at 200 level.
This course will consolidate and extend the ideas of calculus and linear algebra learnt in EMTH118.Due to the condensed nature of this course students are expected to attend every lecture AND every tutorial, at the times specified, on the following days-Lecture times in December: Tues 9-10.30; Wed 11-12.30; Thu 1-2.30; Fri 9-10.30Tutorial times in December: Tues 11-12; Wed 1-2; Thu 3-4; Fri 11-12Lecture times in January: Tues 9-10.30; Wed 11-12.30; Fri 9-10.30Tutorial times in January: Tues 11-12; Wed 1-2; Fri 11-12
