Description

System modelling. Analogue signals, convolution, and correlation. Fourier and Laplace transforms. Random processes. Sampled signals and systems. Discrete Fourier transform. Z-transform. Analogue and digital filters. Control strategies: open-loop feedforward and feedback control systems. Stability, performance, and sensitivity analysis. Lag and lead compensation. Frequency domain design. PID controllers.
