Description

Forest layout and road location; harvesting methods; environmental impacts; safety and health in forests. Flow in fixed and alluvial channels, hydrology.

Learning Outcomes

To introduce the student to engineering aspects of forestry and environmental and safety aspects of forestry operations.

Subject to approval of the Director of Studies, Forest Engineering.
