Description

This course provides the means for students to complete the Maori and Pacific engagement and consultation component of the MCivilEng degree. All MCivilEng students must successfully complete this course to graduate. Students will engage in a workshop and complete a range of activities to understand basic Maori and Pacific cultural engagement principles that are necessary to drive successful civic engagement and social responsibility in Aotearoa New Zealand and Pacific contexts. Students will also reflect on how these principles of engagement apply within their own context.
