Description

Mechanical engineers are increasingly involved with the design of embedded systems. This new focus provides an opportunity for all Mechanical engineers to play a greater role in the development of embedded systems. This course is part of a suite of courses providing mechanical engineers the skillset to play a larger role in the design of embedded systems. Specifically, this course will provide a foundation of embedded software and computer architecture. Students will gain experience in writing professional-level embedded software in the C programming language, and understand what subcomponents comprise a microcontroller

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Head of Department. RP: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, AND ENME313 or equivalent.
