This is the second of two advanced German language courses. It aims at improving the students' all-round knowledge of contemporary German including knowledge of stylistic and regional variation. In addition students' reading and writing skills will be enhanced through work on a fictional text.
This course is the second semester and continuation of the advanced German language course GRMN351.You have a command of the essentials of German. You practise reading, writing and discussing difficult topics and work-related issues and will continue to learn to successfully master increasingly difficult tasks in German.At the end of the course the students will have German proficiency equivalent to level B2, Common European framework (CEFR).This is an online course and you will have to provide the equipment to participate (lap top/computer and stable internet connection). You will join GRMN352 the on-campus cohort in their lessons via zoom (see timetable. In addition to that, the sessions will be recorded for you to view in your own time. The lecturer will also be available via zoom by arrangement for consultation.If you have any questions about the structure of the course, please contact the course coordinator.
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Studierende, die GERMAN 301/321 bestanden oder anderweitig vergleichbare Kenntnisse des Deutschen erworben haben. Der Unterricht ist kommunikativ ausgelegt und die Unterrichtssprache des Kurses ist Deutsch. Ziel des Kurses ist flüssiges und grammatikalisch korrektes Deutsch auf GER-Niveau B2.Der Kurs bereitet außerdem auf das Goethe B2 Zertifikat vor, das direkt an der UoA/UC am Ende des Semesters abgelegt werden kann. Das Goethe-Zertifikat ist weltweit als Sprachprüfung anerkannt.
