Description

This course provides an overview of key concepts, models, and theories related to mental health and addictions in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally. It explores key concepts underpinning this area of practice. These include: determinants influencing mental health and addictions; ethical principles for practice; bicultural competence; relevant laws and policies; and evidence-based interventions particularly in the context of substance use.
