Description

This course will examine the role of dietary patterns in relation to health and culture in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally. It will examine the role of the food system on diet quality and interplay between nutrients when foods are eaten in combination and their impacts on health. Students wishing to apply to the Nutrition Society of New Zealand will take this course to ensure they meet the academic requirements for Associate Nutritionist.
