Dissertation
All ILAP students must complete a dissertation as part of their LLM (ILAP) degree at Canterbury. The dissertation can be on any issue within international law, subject to the School of Law’s ability to provide a supervisor with suitable expertise.Dissertations are to be of 15,000-20,000 words (including footnotes) in length. Students are encouraged to consider their dissertation topic as early as possible, however it is acknowledged that some students may prefer to complete their course work before considering possible topics. Discussion of possible topics should be, in the first instance, with one of the Directors of the ILAP programme
