Description

This course is designed for students with NCEA Level 2 Japanese language or equivalent. At the end of the course, students should be able to understand and actively use basic modern Japanese grammar and vocabulary, and read and write the kana syllabaries, and approximately 150 characters.

Prerequisites

NCEA Level 2 Japanese with at least 12 credits (but not NCEA Level 3) or JAPA141 or equivalent or with approval of the Programme Director.
