Description

Introduction to calculus, trigonometry and algebra. Emphasis on setting up mathematical models of problems, solving them and interpreting the solutions. Applications to the physical, life and earth sciences as well as to commerce and the humanities.

If you pass this course and wish to include more mathematics in your programme, then we will encourage you to take MATH105 or MATH106.  If your grades are sufficiently high, and with the permission of the Head of Department, you may enrol in MATH107.
