An introductory course in calculus and linear algebra that is designed primarily for students who have done well in Level 3 NCEA Mathematics, covering single variable calculus and basic ideas in linear algebra. The mathematics in this course has applications in many areas of science and commerce.
This occurrence of the course is for approved online students only. On-campus students should enrol in the (C) occurrence of this course.
1. MATH101, or2. NCEA 14 Credits at level 3 Mathematics, or3. Cambridge: D at A level or an A at AS level in Mathematics, or4. IB: 4 at HL or 5 at SL in Mathematics, or5. Approval of the Head of School based on alternative prior learning.
