This course provides a guide to this challenging area of leadership and aims to help you apply basic human resource management (HRM) principles and techniques in ways that are both organisationally relevant and topical.
In today's dynamic business landscape, effectively managing and sustaining the performance of an organisation's human capital is paramount to achieving strategic objectives and driving overall success. This course is designed to equip both experienced leaders and aspiring managers with the essential skills and practical applications needed to influence, develop and optimise the performance of individuals and teams within their organisations.
On completion of the course, it is expected that learners will be able to: 1. Analyse an organisation's systems performance and goals to identify the required capabilities, resources, and performance standards needed to drive strategic objectives.2. Examine and apply inclusive talent management practices in recruitment, development, and retention to build a workforce that enable an organisations strategy.3. Design comprehensive performance management strategies, systems and inventions that optimise individual and team outputs to enable organisational strategy.4. Critique how leadership styles can be applied effectively to develop people and enhance performance in diverse organisational settings.
