Description

This course is preparation for research in the Medical Physics area and includes modules on writing, presentation and typesetting skills, programming, statistics, data analysis, optimization, medical treatment planning and Monte Carlo modelling of radiation transport.

Assessment Due Date Percentage  Description
Weekly Assignments 100% Assessment This is a pass/fail course. There is no final exam. Assessment consists of assignments every week or so, which will generally be due by Friday two weeks after the relevant computer lab or lecture. Students must pass all assignments. • All students have four assignments in Term 1 and Term 2. • MDPH407 students have three assignments in Term 3 and two in Term 4.
