This course provides an introduction to the study of human behavior within organisational settings. Students will explore and apply foundational theories to understand how individuals, groups, and structures influence organisational dynamics and outcomes. Examples topic areas include personality, motivation, group & team dynamics, leadership, organisational culture, and change management. Through a blend of lectures and interactive activities, students will develop an understanding of the psychological and sociological factors that drive individudal and group behaviour in organisations.
1. Apply organisational behaviour principles, concepts and theories and the findings from organisational studies research to understand individual/group/organisational issues. 2. Analyse and critically evaluate human behaviour in the context of an organisational setting.All pieces of assessment require you to understand and apply OB principles, concepts and theories.

Students must attend one activity from each section.
The course uses active and interactive teaching methods that requires attendance and in-person engagement. During Workshop times we will doing activities, group discussions, and other exercises to teach you about individual and group behaviour in organisations behaviour and how to apply theory to real-life situations. There are six options for attending Workshops, you are required to attend five Workshops and complete an assessment within the Workshop.Due to the experiential and interactive nature of the course, workshops for this course are NOT recorded using the ECHO360 lecture recording system. The weekly content lectures will be recorded on ECHO360.
