Health Leadership and Management: Experiential Research Practicum

The Master of Health Leadership and Management is designed to strengthen students’ leadership and management capabilities in the health sector by building on their prior education and professional experience. The programme develops advanced knowledge and practical skills for effective leadership in complex health environments. As the capstone course, students undertake a 200-hour experiential research project, applying their expertise to address real-world health leadership and management challenges. Projects are supported through academic supervision and technical guidance to ensure both rigour and relevance. Assessment is based on project outcomes and includes the submission of a project brief, weekly progress updates, a final written report, an oral presentation, and a poster. Students are individually evaluated on their communication, contribution, and capability - whether working independently or as part of a group.
