This course builds on MUSA141 to provide students with additional technical skills, musical knowledge and understanding through performance on an instrument or voice. The course involves weekly individual 1-hour lessons, performance classes, and ensemble training. Students will gain further knowledge of the repertoire for their particular instrument and undertake a concert performance at the end of the semester.
This course will provide students with an opportunity to develop the Graduate Attributes specified below:
Critically competent in a core academic discipline of their award
Students know and can critically evaluate and, where applicable, apply this knowledge to topics/issues within their majoring subject.
