Description

This whole-year course builds on MUSA143 to provide students with additional technical skills, musical knowledge and understanding through performance on an instrument or voice. The course involves weekly individual 45-minute lessons, performance classes, and ensemble training. The course is designed for Performance Majors who wish to continue studying a relevant second instrument/voice.

Assessment Due Date Percentage  Description
Participation 20% Teachers grade for participation in the individual lessons and any technical exams that have been scheduled during the year
Workshops 20% Attendance at the Combined Performance Workshop as well as a Performance Class appropriate to the participant’s instrument or voice
Public Performances 30% Two public performances throughout the year, either on the Friday lunchtime concert series, at the combined performance workshops (Wednesdays at 5pm) or another venue
Performance Concert 30% One end-of-year concert performance (scheduled between October 25 - November 5)

Indicative Fees

Domestic fee $1,058.00

International fee $5,038.00
