Description

Ensemble training and performance in big band jazz.

This course is designed to enable the student to gain experience and develop skills in big band jazz.

Prerequisites

School of Jazz audition.

Timetable Note

Rehearsals - two hours per week at the School of Jazz, High Street, Christchurch.  Extra rehearsals and concerts as arranged.

The ability to perform with skill and confidence in 2-3 selected programmes of music that demonstrate a range of technical skills appropriate to big band jazz.
Assessment will be PASS or FAIL based on the criteria noted above.
