Performance work involving weekly individual lessons, performance classes and ensemble training in an approved instrument.
This course aims to develop technical and musicianship skills in music performance in the student's chosen instrument/voice, and to develop performance experience through participation in concerts of solo and/or ensemble music.
Students who pass this course will have developed:* Further technical performance skills in an instrument or voice;* Advanced music understanding through performance in an instrument or voice;* Wide knowledge of repertoire for a specific instrument or voice;* Professional preparation and performing skills.

Individual performance teachers are assigned to each student.
The mid-year examination will be of 20-35 minutes' duration consisting of technical exercises, and at least one short recital piece.The final performance examination will be of approximately 25-35 minutes' duration consisting of solo (or accompanied) works.
