Description

A professional internship placement.

The programme provides students with a placement within a business or organisation to gain experience in a professional workplace environment, and develop the skills and competencies to gain a competitive edge upon graduation.

Students work with a host organisation throughout the programme, complete a related academic research element, and receive personal development and skills training.

Students have worked on a diverse range of placements and projects including analysing social media, event organisation, policy analysis, media strategy development, marketing and fundraising, oral history research, community and social development, working in museums, galleries and public art, and in urban redevelopment and food resilience. We can also cater for more specialised placements related to all disciplines, especially for international students and Study Abroad students.

Note: Enrolment is by application to the PACE programme and an interview, and permission from the International and Internship Manager. More information can be found on the course link. Specific placements cannot be guaranteed and are based on the most suitable match for the student’s skills set.
