Conservation laws, waves and physical optics, mechanical and thermal properties of matter, thermodynamics and kinetic theory of gases, magnetic fields, induction, magnetic materials.

Prerequisites

PHYS111 or PHYS106
This may be replaced by an average of 58% in Bursary Physics and Mathematics with Calculus, or
an equivalent NCEA or other background approved by the HOD.
