Description

Conservation laws in mechanics, gravity and orbits, waves, sound, mechanical and thermal properties of matter, thermodynamics, geometrical and wave optics, relativity.

Prerequisites

PHYS111, or
PHYS106, or
14 credits NCEA Level 3 Physics and 14 credits NCEA Level 3 Mathematics with Calculus. These prerequisites may be replaced by other background as approved by the Head of Department.
