Description

PMGT611 introduces students to Agile as a modern approach to managing projects and delivering value in environments of change and uncertainty. The course explores the principles, frameworks, and practices of Agile, showing how they differ from traditional methods and how they support adaptive, user-centred, and value-driven project delivery. Students gain practical experience through a team project, moving from product visioning to prototyping and validation in a simulated organisational setting. Along the way, they will engage in activities such as stakeholder mapping, requirements analysis, sprint planning, iterative development, testing, and pitching. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, customer involvement, rapid feedback, and continuous improvement, preparing students to apply Agile ways of working across diverse project contexts.
