During this course, students will work in groups on two separate Digital Product Design projects. The first project focuses on the early stages of Digital Product Design, including problem identification, market, product and technology analysis, target audience determination and user needs analysis, and low fidelity prototyping for early investigations into the digital product design process. In the second project, students will focus on the later stages of the digital product design process, including developing plans on how to release a product into market, how to collect and analyse usage data to evaluate the success of a product and determine ongoing development priorities and future release cycles, and the development of reports and communication of project outcomes for the various stages in the product lifecycle.
