An advanced survey of research methods, including the design and conduct of research studies and the analysis and reporting of data in Psychology.

This course is designed to expose the students to a variety of research methods that are commonly used in psychological research.  After a survey of the basic issues in experimental design, special attention will be paid to the understanding of methodology in the context of actual research such as perception, learning, and memory.  The 12-hours of laboratory classes during the year will provide hands-on experience with designing experiments and writing research reports.
