Epidemiology is the science of public health and, in this course, students will develop and apply knowledge of epidemiological methods and principles to understand the social and political drivers of health. The course develops student skills in conducting and analysing an epidemiological study. The course will support students to assess associations between exposure and disease, bias, confounding, and validity with a focus on their application to address inequities in health outcomes.
