This course utilises various strength and conditioning contexts to consolidate and enhance knowledge and understanding of effective physical development strategies for diverse populations. There is a focus on correct technique to prevent injury and enhance performance for those interested in participation or high performance. Students will also have an opportunity within a sport- or fitness-related workplace environment (of their choice) to experience and contribute to the physical development of a population. The course content and the workplace environments will allow students to understand and apply effective physical development strategies as well as gaining knowledge and understanding of key strength and power exercises.
Any 60 points at 100-level from any subject or any 15 points at 100-level from SPRT or SPCO courses.
