This course provides students with opportunities to progress towards the demonstration of Year 1 competencies and professional qualities. The course is closely linked to Professional Studies 1A and B. Associate Teachers assist the College to assess students' developing competence as teachers.
By the conclusion of the course, students will be able to:Demonstrate all of the professional attributes at a satisfactory level or above.Demonstrate achievement of year 1 competencies consistently at a satisfactory level or above.Evaluate own teaching practice using a reflective process.Identify goals and strategies for developing the competencies and professional attributes for TEPP200.
