Description

This course provides students with opportunities to progress towards the demonstration of Year 1 competencies and professional qualities. The course is closely linked to Professional Studies 1A and B. Associate Teachers assist the College to assess students' developing competence as teachers.

Learning Outcomes

  • By the conclusion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Demonstrate all of the professional attributes at a satisfactory level or above.
  • Demonstrate achievement of year 1 competencies consistently at a satisfactory level or above.
  • Evaluate own teaching practice using a reflective process.
  • Identify goals and strategies for developing the competencies and professional attributes for TEPP200

Where to submit and collect work

FLO students are to submit hard copy Assignments with a Cover Sheet to the College of Education.

By Hand:
Deliver to, Assignments Room in Ōrakipaoa, accessed from the back doors closest to The Collective (the USCA Cafe), by 5.00pm on or before the due date. Hours of operation are 11am-2pm weekdays. For dropping off assignments outside these hours, please use the drop boxes placed at the back entrance to Ōrakipaoa.
