This course will simultaneously introduce students to physics and chemistry, the key sciences needed to study physical sciences or engineering. It will introduce the language and nomenclature of chemistry by introducing students to atomic structure, bond formation, chemical reactions, the mole concept and energy in chemistry. The physics component of the course introduces the language and nomenclature of mechanics, waves, and electromagnetism.
