Description

A supervised research dissertation. Candidates enrolled for APSY660 Dissertation must present a dissertation to the Postgraduate Office no later than 1 February of the year following enrolment in the course.

In this course you conduct independent research and write a dissertation under the guidance of a supervisor. The dissertation will present the results of a research investigation into an area relevant to organisational psychology. The topic of your dissertation is decided on in collaboration with your supervisor.

Learning Outcomes

  • Design a study that will allow the research questions to be answered, or hypotheses to be tested
  • Conduct the appropriate analyses to answer research questions, or test hypotheses
  • Write a dissertation, including literature review, methods, results, discussion
  • Reflect on results, limitations, and strengths of research project
  • Outline implications of results for research and practitioners
  • Contribute to a community or researchers in the APSY660 cohort
