Description

An introduction to evolution: patterns and processes of evolution; mechanisms of evolution, adaptation, speciation and extinction.

Prerequisites

BIOL112. This prerequisite may be replaced by a high level of achievement in an equivalent course as determined by the Head of the School of Biological Sciences.

Timetable Note

Tutorials:
tutorials are in the second term only
There will be either three or four tutorial streams, depending on student numbers.
They are on one of either: Mondays 12PM -1PM, Tuesdays 12PM -1PM, Wednesdays 1PM -2PM, and Thursdays 12PM -1PM.
The first two tutorials (during week 7 & 8) will be held in The Dock, ground floor Law Building (beside the café). The remaining Mon, Tue, and Wed tutorials will be held in BIOLOGY456 and the Thu tutorials will be held in ZOOLOGY703.
