Description

Advanced theories and concepts of freshwater ecology and their practical application to current issues.

This course focuses on important current problems facing freshwater ecosystems and how ecological concepts and theories can help us understand and solve these problems. Students will be give practical skills and knowledge essential to employment as a freshwater ecologist.

Prerequisites

BIOL270 and BIOL209. For students enrolled before 2004, 44 points from PAMS204, BIOL270, FORE202, ZOOL202, BIOL210, ZOOL204, ZOOL205, BIOL211, ZOOL214, BIOL212
