Description

An introduction to the basic principles of circuit theory. RLC circuits, sensors, filters, operational amplifiers and simulation techniques.

Semiconductors and their application, signal theory, digital logic, A/D and D/A converters, transducers, microprocessors and modern instrumentation, computer interfacing.

Prerequisites

(1) PHYS114 or PHYS115 or PHYS116; and
(2) 18 points from MATH100. MATH105 or the combination of MATH106 and MATH107 is highly recommended.
