Topics covered include:● Mechanical analysis, drawing and design using Solidworks● Circuit analysis and simulation ● PCB design and assembly● Engineering design process
At the end of this course, the student will be able to: ● implement basic top-down design methodologies● produce mechanical drawing and designs suitable for 3D printing● perform circuit analysis, design and simulation using software tools● design, construct and test a simple PCB board● build and test a prototype project● communicate their work in a design report
