This course aims to advance students' abilities in applying and evaluating the physico-chemical treatment processes for industrial wastewater and air pollution. It covers theory and design of biological, oxidation, and anaerobic treatment of wastewater. Mitigation for air pollution include pollution reduction strategies, biofilters, and equipment for the removal of gaseous and particulate airborne pollutants.
